Glazed Carrots

Ingredients

8 whole carrots, cut diagonally into thin slices
4 tbsp apple juice concentrate
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground allspice
2 tsp grated orange peel
1-3/4 cups water
2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 3 tbsp water

Preparation

Put carrots and remaining ingredients except cornstarch mixture in a medium-size saucepan.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until carrots are tender, but not soft.

Add cornstarch mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
