Caramel Frosting with Half and Half

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 6 tbsp half-and-half
- 1 ½ cups confectioners sugar
Instructions
- Melt granulated sugar in heavy skillet, add butter and brown sugar; stir until dissolved; add half-and-half, a spoonful at a time, stirring well. Boil I minute. Remove from heat and add confectioners' sugar. Beat well until frosting has lost its gloss.
