Ingredients
  

  • 2 cucumbers peeled, seeded and cut into 1-inch slices
  • Salt
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions 

  • Sprinkle the cucumbers lightly with salt and let stand for 20 minutes. Drain.
  • Heat the vinegar, sugar and water and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
  • Add the cucumbers and let the mixture stand for several hours before serving.
