Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 lb pasta
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 lb thinly sliced smoked bacon cut crosswise into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • ¾ lb Cooked shrimp baby bay shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons chives finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh flat leaf parsley finely chopped
  • 1 dash salt to taste
  • 1 dash Black pepper freshly ground, to taste
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated

Instructions 

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, following the manufacturer's suggested cooking time.
  • As soon as the pasta starts cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until it just begins to turn crisp, 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Pour off most of the fat from the skillet. Add the butter and reduce the heat to low. As soon as the butter melts, stir in the shrimp and cook until heated through, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in the chives and parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • As soon as the pasta is done, drain it and toss well with the sauce. Serve immediately wirh parmesan cheese.
