thick slices (1 loaf french bread)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 300°F.
Peel the garlic clove and crush under the flat of your cook's knife.
Place the garlic in the oil in a small frying pan and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes to flavor the oil.
Discard the garlic.
Cut the French bread in 1/4-inch-thick slices.
Brush the bread slices on both sides with the oil and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake until crisp, 10 - 15 minutes. Salt to taste.
Let cool, then store in an airtight container. Try two layers of plastic bags.
