Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 6 slices french bread thick slices (1 loaf french bread)
  • 1 dash salt to taste

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F.
  • Peel the garlic clove and crush under the flat of your cook's knife.
  • Place the garlic in the oil in a small frying pan and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes to flavor the oil.
  • Discard the garlic.
  • Cut the French bread in 1/4-inch-thick slices.
  • Brush the bread slices on both sides with the oil and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake until crisp, 10 - 15 minutes. Salt to taste.
  • Let cool, then store in an airtight container. Try two layers of plastic bags.
