Wipe the meat with a damp cloth and broil very slowly to give the meat a chance to cook through thoroughly. Turn several times during the cooking. Allow about 10 to 15 minutes cooking on each side. Turn the heat up at the last to brown and crisp the outside. Season to taste with salt and pepper
SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve with grilled or fried onions and garlic bread. A hearty coleslaw goes well with pork steaks.
