Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole medium onion peeled ad quartered
  • 1/4 cup parsley leaves
  • 3 whole garlic cloves smashed and peeled
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 cups lightly canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions 

  • Put onions, parsley, and garlic in the workbowl of a food processor and process until finely chopped.
  • Heat oil in a 2-quart soufflé dish, uncovered, at 100% for 2 minutes. Stir in onion mixture. Cook, uncovered, at 100% for 8 minutes, stirring once.
  • Remove from oven. Stir in crushed tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook at 100% for 6 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Taste and adjust seasoning.
