Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp double-acting baking powder

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Have ingredients about 70°.
  • Cream butter and powdered sugar.
  • Add eggs and vanilla and beat until light.
  • Sift cornstarch before measuring out 1 cup cornstarch.
  • Sift 3 times again, with 2 teaspoons double-acting baking powder
  • Combine the creamed and the sifted ingredients until blended.
  • Fill muffin tins with greased bottoms half full and bake about 15 minutes.
