Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 2 oz maple syrup
  • 12 oz evaporated milk

Instructions 

  • Bring the water and salt to a boil in a large saucepan. Add the oatmeal and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
