6each applespeeled if desired, cored, and sliced thin
2tablespoonssweetenerdry sweetener (brown sugar, sucanat or other)
2tbspjuiceconcentrate or other
1tablespoonall-purpose flourheaping tablespoon
1/2tspor more cinnamon or apple pie spice mix
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Buzz first nine (crust ingredients) ingredients in a food processor until fairly fine but still granular. Reserve about 1 cup of the crust mix for a crumble topping. Press remaining crust mixture into a greased pie pan (as thinly as possible with no pan peeking through) and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove baked crust and let it cool before filling. Leave the oven on.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Buzz all filling ingredients in a food processor.
In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients mix well, and pour into the prebaked pie shell. Crumble reserved crust mixture over the whole affair and bake at 350°F for 50 minutes. Serve with your favorite frozen dessert.
