Ingredients

green beans
trimmed and cut into 2-inch lengths

dash salt
to taste

butter at room temperature
1 ½
tablespoons
Fresh lemon juice

tbsp
finely chopped parsley

dash Black pepper
freshly ground, to taste
Instructions
Rinse the beans and drain them. Put them into a saucepan with water to cover and salt to taste.
Bring to the boil and simmer 10 minutes or until tender. The beans must remain a trifle firm or al dente.
Drain the beans and return them to a hot saucepan. Add the butter and sprinkle with lemon juice, parsley, and pepper. Toss. Serve hot.
