Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon tamari soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown rice syrup
  • 2 tbsp brown rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot dissolved in
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon umeboshi paste
  • 2 tbsp white miso
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp gomashio

Instructions 

  • Combine the oil, tamari brown rice syrup, and brown rice vinegar in a small saucepan. Bring to a slow boil, then add the arrowroot mixture.
  • Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, until thick and bubbly, then remove from the heat and let it sit to thicken.
  • Combine the umeboshi and miso with warm water to thin. Stir into the tamari mixture and mix until smooth. Add the gomashio and cool.
