- 1 whole pizza dough 12-inch pizza
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup canned tuna drained and broken into chunks
- 24 each nicoise olive pitted and halved
- 2 tbsp small capers drained
- 8 each anchovy fillets chopped coarse (canned)
- 1/2 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons basil shredded fine
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet.
Spread the pizza sauce on top of the crust up to 1/2 inch from its edge. Distribute the tuna, olives, capers, and anchovies evenly over the surface. Sprinkle evenly with the mozzarella.
Bake the pizza until the cheese is melted and just beginning to brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, garnish with basil, transfer to a cutting board, and cut into slices.
