Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Combine the rutabagas, butter, crumbs, mace, pepper, salt, sugar, ginger and milk. Beat in the egg. Turn the mixture into a buttered 1-quart casserole and brush the top with the melted butter. Bake for about 45 minutes, until brown.
