1tbspbutter or margarine
1egg
1/2cupmilk
Dash of nutmeg
Sifted powdered sugaroptional
Instructions
Divide turkey over two slices of bread. Spread turkey with cranberry chutney. Top with cheese and close sandwiches with the remaining two slices of bread.
Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Beat egg in a pie plate or large shallow bowl and beat in milk and nutmeg.
Place one sandwich at a time in the egg mixture and let stand for 30 seconds per side.
Cook in the melted butter for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
