Glazed Country Ham

Ingredients
- 16 lb country cured ham
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- ½ cup red wine or port
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. With a sharp knife, trim the rind and all but 1/4 inch of the fat from the ham, then score the fat in a small diamond pattern.
- Mix the brown sugar and wine or port to make a glaze.
- Lightly coat the ham with half the glaze and bake uncovered for 15 minutes.
