Ingredients
  

  • 4 lb chicken wings
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon Grated fresh ginger optional
  • 1 teaspoon hot or dijon-style mustard
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions 

  • Cut each chicken wing at the joint to make two pieces. Cut off and discard the tips.
  • Combine remaining ingredients and heat in a saucepan until the butter is melted. Stir and remove from flame. Arrange the chicken wings in a shallow baking pan. When the sauce is cool, pour over the wings and mix for even coating. Refrigerate and marinate overnight, or at least four hours. Give the wings a stir during the marinating for better flavor absorption.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, stirring now and then. Drain and serve either hot or cold, with desired garnishes.
