Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs salmon steak
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 3 whole Garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger ground
- 1 pinch salt to taste
- 1 pinch pepper to taste
- 1 ½ teaspoon chili sauce
- 1 pinch salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Lightly coat two small baking dishes with cooking spray. Rinse the salmon under cold water and pat dry. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
- Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, tomato paste, garlic, and ginger.
- Stir in the red chili sauce to the remaining brown sugar mixture. Brush the sauce over the salmon and place in the other baking dish.
- Bake for 18 - 20 minutes or until cooked through. The salmon is done when the meat is evenly colored and flakes easily with a fork.
