Curried Beef in Pita

Ingredients
- 6 whole pita pocket bread
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 whole medium delicious apple chopped
- 1/4 cup dark seedless raisins
- 1-1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 8 ozs plain yogurt
Instructions
- Prepare Pita. Prepare Curried Beef: In 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender; spoon off any excess fat. Add apple, raisins, salt and curry. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes or until apple is tender-crisp.
- Cut each piece of pita bread in half to make 2 "pockets." Fill each half with about 1/3 cup beef mixture. Pass the plain yogurt separately to spoon into each sandwich
