Steak alla Pizzaiola

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Paesana California Chopped Garlic
- 1-1/2 lbs boneless rib or Delmonico club steaks cut 1/2 inch thick
- 1 dash salt to taste
- 1 dash Black pepper freshly ground, to taste
- 16 oz paesana marinara sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 bunch flat leaf parsley chopped
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Trim steaks of all external fat. Heat oil and garlic in a heavy skillet large enough to hold steaks without touching.
- Add steaks, brown 2 minutes, season with salt and pepper and turn. Cook another 2 minutes. Meanwhile, heat Marinara Sauce in a saucepan.
- Remove excess juice and oil from skillet.
- Add Marinara Sauce, Parmesan cheese, and oregano, spoon over meat, cover and cook about 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
