20 Minute Applesauce Cookies
Ripe bananas and applesauce bring sweetness and moisture to these star-worthy cookies that are so delicious your kids will gobble them up! Tip: If you don't have apple pie spice mix on hand, use a mix of ½ tsp. cinnamon, ¼ tsp. nutmeg, and ⅛ tsp. allspice.

Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 cups rolled oats
- ⅓ cup applesauce
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. ground flax
- ½ tsp. apple pie spice mix
- ½ cup dried cherries
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- 2. Using a fork, mash the bananas in a bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
- 3. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake for until springy to the touch (18-20 minutes).
