Ingredients
- 1 whole pie crust whole wheat pie crust
- 4 cups fresh brambleberries or cherries pitted
- 4 tablespoons whole-wheat pastry flour
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or raw honey
- 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tbsp arrowroot powder
- 1 pinch sea salt
Instructions
- Mix the berries or cherries with the other ingredients and pour into the crust. Let stand 15 minutes.
- Add simple topping if desired.
- Bake 45 minutes at 375°.
