Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole pie crust whole wheat pie crust
  • 4 cups fresh brambleberries or cherries pitted
  • 4 tablespoons whole-wheat pastry flour
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or raw honey
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp arrowroot powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions 

  • Mix the berries or cherries with the other ingredients and pour into the crust. Let stand 15 minutes.
  • Add simple topping if desired.
  • Bake 45 minutes at 375°.
