Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Spanish brandy warmed
  • 12 oz dark rum warmed
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon peel thinly sliced
  • 4 cups hot strong coffee
  • 3 oz cinnamon sticks 3 sticks - each 5-inches

Instructions 

  • Combine in a flameproof 4- to 6-quart bowl: rum brandy, sugar and lemon peel
  • Stir, then carefully ignite the mixture, holding a long wooden match near the surface (do not immerse the match). Stir with a long spoon while slowly adding the coffee.
  • When all the coffee has been added and the flame is extinguished, ladle into cups. garnish wih cinnamon sticks
