Ingredients
- 2- inch piece fresh ginger root peeled and chopped
- 3 tbsp mild-flavored honey more to taste
- 4 cups water
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 4 cloves
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 30 minutes.
- Strain, correct sweetening, and serve, or chill and serve. Dilute with water if too strong.
