Ingredients
  

  • 2- inch piece fresh ginger root peeled and chopped
  • 3 tbsp mild-flavored honey more to taste
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 4 cloves

Instructions 

  • Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 30 minutes.
  • Strain, correct sweetening, and serve, or chill and serve. Dilute with water if too strong.
