Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz chickpeas canned
  • 2 whole Garlic cloves peeled and chopped
  • ¼ cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon parsley snipped or mint

Instructions 

  • Drain the chick-peas, reserving 1 tbsp of the liquid. Place chick-peas, 1 tbsp reserved liquid, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and sesame oil in blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Serve in a bowl garnished with parsley and paprika. Cut pita triangles are the traditional accompaniment. Hummus can be kept in the refrigerator up to a week.
