Ingredients
- 16 oz chickpeas canned
- 2 whole Garlic cloves peeled and chopped
- ΒΌ cup Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon parsley snipped or mint
Instructions
- Drain the chick-peas, reserving 1 tbsp of the liquid. Place chick-peas, 1 tbsp reserved liquid, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and sesame oil in blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Serve in a bowl garnished with parsley and paprika. Cut pita triangles are the traditional accompaniment. Hummus can be kept in the refrigerator up to a week.
