Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz tempeh cubed
  • 3 tbsp corn oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 whole garlic cloves crushed
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons tamari soy sauce
  • 1 cup salsa

Instructions 

  • Steam the tempeh over boiling water for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the cubes from the steamer and place in a blender or food processor. Add remaining ingredients except salsa and purée for 15 to 20 seconds. The texture will be slightly chunky.
  • Pour into a bowl and stir in the salsa. Chill well before serving.
