Mom's Apple Crisp

Ingredients
- 7 whole tart green apple Granny Smith peeled, cored and sliced
- 6 oz Frozen apple juice concentrate thawed
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 ½ cups Cereal granola (vanilla)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Spray or wipe a saucepan lightly with vegetable oil. Add the apples, apple juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook over high heat until the apples are tender and the juice is reduced and caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- Lightly spray or wipe a 6 x 8-inch baking dish with vegetable oil. Place the apples in the bottom of the dish. Reserve the juice.
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- Cover the apples with granola, pour over the reserved juice, and dot with butter. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden.
- Serve warm; top each serving with 1/4 cup of Vanilla frozen yogurt , if desired.
