Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup pecan meats
- 1 cup cake flour
- Confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°.
- Beat the butter until soft.
- Add the sugar and vanilla and blend until creamy.
- Measure the pecan meat, then grind in a nut gri.
- Sift the cake flour before measuring.
- Stir the pecans and the flour into the butter mixture. Roll the dough into small balls. Place balls on a greased cookie sheet and bake about 30 minutes. Roll while hot in: Confectioners' sugar
- To glaze, put the sheet back into the oven for a minute. Cool and serve.
