Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup pecan meats
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • Confectioners' sugar

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 300°.
  • Beat the butter until soft.
  • Add the sugar and vanilla and blend until creamy.
  • Measure the pecan meat, then grind in a nut gri.
  • Sift the cake flour before measuring.
  • Stir the pecans and the flour into the butter mixture. Roll the dough into small balls. Place balls on a greased cookie sheet and bake about 30 minutes. Roll while hot in: Confectioners' sugar
  • To glaze, put the sheet back into the oven for a minute. Cool and serve.
