Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp double-acting baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup sliced stuffed green olives
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Sift together: 1-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons double-acting baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Add: 1 cup whole wheat flour
- Mix together: 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Combine the milk and flour mixtures with a few swift strokes, then add: 1 cup sliced stuffed green olives
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- Bake in a greased pan about 45 minutes.
