Ingredients
  

  • 1-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp double-acting baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup sliced stuffed green olives
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Sift together: 1-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons double-acting baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Add: 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • Mix together: 1 beaten egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Combine the milk and flour mixtures with a few swift strokes, then add: 1 cup sliced stuffed green olives
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • Bake in a greased pan about 45 minutes.
