Ingredients
  

  • 1-1/2 to 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp rum kirsch or Grand Marnier

Instructions 

  • If berries are frozen, thaw them. If fresh, wash gently. The size of fresh baskets and frozen packages varies, but don't worry, a few berries more or less will not matter.
  • With a wooden spoon, or whatever works for you, press the berries through a strainer. This eliminates the seeds. Processors and blenders do not work for this seed-free sauce.
  • Add the sugar and liquor to the sauce and stir.
  • Refrigerate until needed.
