Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz. shortening
  • 8 oz. flour
  • 1 gallon milk boiling
  • 1 cup unflavored gelatin

Instructions 

  • Make a roux with shortening and flour.
  • Add boiling milk and mix until thick and smooth.
  • Cook sauce for 5 minutes and slowly pour in 1 cup of high-bloom unflavored gelatin powder that has been soaked in water.
