2. Place the peeled, cored, and quartered pears in a baking dish and pour in the apple juice. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg and cover the dish with foil or a lid.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the pears are soft but not mushy, and are aromatic. Serve hot or cool, with a spoonful or two of the apple juice. Top, if you wish, with plain low-fat yogurt.
