In a large bowl, place the bread slices. In another bowl, mix together the next ten ingredients and pour over the bread slices. Let stand for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350° F. Pour the mixture into a buttered 2-1/2- to 3-quart baking dish and bake for 1 hour or until set.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle the liqueur over the top and serve immediately.
