guacamole
Fresh cilantro
lime wedges, and/or salsa for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Cut the pork into 1-1/2-inch cubes.
Place the pork cubes on a shallow, lightly greased baking pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, chili powder, and cumin.
Bake in a 325° oven for 1 hour. Stir now and then, draining excess fat.
To serve, drain and place on a warmed platter with guacamole and/or salsa. Eat carnitas using toothpicks.
