Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked or canned pumpkin or squash
  • 1-1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg or allspice
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • 2 whole eggs beaten

Instructions 

  • Prepare pie pan with single pie crust.
  • Preheat oven to 425°.
  • Mix all ingredients until well blended.
  • Pour the mixture into the pie shell Bake 15 minutes at 425°, then reduce heat to 350° and bake about 45 minutes longer or until an inserted knife comes out clean. Serve with: Sweetened whipped cream
  • Serve with sweetened whipped cream and bourbon.
