Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked or canned pumpkin or squash
- 1-1/2 cups sour cream
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg or allspice
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 2 whole eggs beaten
Instructions
- Prepare pie pan with single pie crust.
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Mix all ingredients until well blended.
- Pour the mixture into the pie shell Bake 15 minutes at 425°, then reduce heat to 350° and bake about 45 minutes longer or until an inserted knife comes out clean. Serve with: Sweetened whipped cream
- Serve with sweetened whipped cream and bourbon.
