Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp Crisco* butter-flavored shortening
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 lb mushrooms coarsely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 10 oz frozen broccoli thawed
  • 1-1/2 cups matzoh meal farfel
  • 3 servings egg substitute prepared
  • 1 tbsp Nucoa Smart Beat* low-fat margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions 

  • Melt shortening in skillet. Sauté onions until soft. Add mushrooms and garlic; sauté until most of the liquid has evaporated. Transfer to medium bowl and allow to cool.
  • Stir in chopped broccoli and farfel. Mix prepared egg substitute and melted reduced-fat margarine and add to broccoli-farfel mixture. Stir in seasonings.
