Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 5 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 oz maple syrup
- 12 oz evaporated milk
Instructions
- Bring the water and salt to a boil in a large saucepan. Add the oatmeal and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
