Ingredients
- 16 oz green beans trimmed and cut into 2-inch lengths
- 1 dash salt to taste
- 2 tbsp butter at room temperature
- 1 ½ tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 1 dash Black pepper freshly ground, to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the beans and drain them. Put them into a saucepan with water to cover and salt to taste.
- Bring to the boil and simmer 10 minutes or until tender. The beans must remain a trifle firm or al dente.
- Drain the beans and return them to a hot saucepan. Add the butter and sprinkle with lemon juice, parsley, and pepper. Toss. Serve hot.
