Ingredients
- 1-1/4 lbs about 3 firm, unblemished apples
- 2 tsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp confectioners' sugar.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Peel the apples. Quarter them and cut away the core.
- Arrange them cored side down in a buttered dish and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with the confectioners' sugar.
- Place in the oven and bake 10 minutes. Before serving, run briefly under the broiler.
