Chicken Giblets With Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 lb mushrooms sliced
- 1 whole medium onion sliced thin
- 1/2 lb chicken livers
- 1/2 lb chicken gizzards and hearts cooked and trimmed
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 4 slices toasted bread
Instructions
- Heat the butter, add the mushrooms and onion and cook until brown, stirring occasionally.
- Add the chicken livers and cook 3 minutes. Add the gizzards and hearts and cook about 3 minutes longer. Season with salt and pepper, add the wine and cook 2 minutes. Serve hot on toast squares.
