Ingredients
- 1 whole garlic clove
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 6 slices french bread thick slices (1 loaf french bread)
- 1 dash salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F.
- Peel the garlic clove and crush under the flat of your cook's knife.
- Place the garlic in the oil in a small frying pan and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes to flavor the oil.
- Discard the garlic.
- Cut the French bread in 1/4-inch-thick slices.
- Brush the bread slices on both sides with the oil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake until crisp, 10 - 15 minutes. Salt to taste.
- Let cool, then store in an airtight container. Try two layers of plastic bags.
