Ingredients
- sufficient salad greens for four servings
- 1 heel of stale baguette
- 2 cloves garlic pressed
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup champagne vinegar
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rub the heel of bread with the garlic. Place the greens and bread in a salad bowl, and toss. Beat the oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper together, and toss. Remove the bread and discard, and serve the salad.
