Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 tsp double-acting baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Have ingredients about 70°.
- Cream butter and powdered sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla and beat until light.
- Sift cornstarch before measuring out 1 cup cornstarch.
- Sift 3 times again, with 2 teaspoons double-acting baking powder
- Combine the creamed and the sifted ingredients until blended.
- Fill muffin tins with greased bottoms half full and bake about 15 minutes.
