Ingredients
- 8 slices rye or pumpernickel bread
- 2 teaspoon drained prepared horseradish or desired amount
- 2 teaspoon spicy mustard or desired amount
- About 8 oz Braunschweiger or other liverwurst thinly sliced
- ½ whole red onion thinly sliced
- ½ whole cucumber peeled, seeded and thinly sliced
- 8 slices bacon cooked crisply

- Lay out on a work surface:
- Generously spread 4 slices on one side with:
- Spread the other 4 slices with:
- Layer on top of the horseradish-spread slices:
- Cover with the remaining bread, mustard side down. Press the sandwiches gently together and serve.
