Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 lb fresh shrimp cleaned and deveined
  • ΒΌ cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup cocktail sauce

Instructions 

  • Bring the water and salt to a boil over high heat. Add the shrimp, cover, and reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer the shrimp 5 to 7 minutes, or until they turn pink (do not overcook). Drain well.
  • Place the shrimp in a bowl and refrigerate until cold.
  • Arrange the cold shrimp on a serving platter, sprinkle with lemon juice, and serve with the sauce or dip of your choice.
