Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3 whole u.s. grade a large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 whole unbaked pie shell

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer.
  • Add the cinnamon, allspice, and salt. Mix in the corn syrup. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until well blended.
  • Stir in the oats. Pour the filling into pie shell and bake for 60 minutes or until the filling is set.
