Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 3 whole u.s. grade a large eggs at room temperature
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 whole unbaked pie shell
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer.
- Add the cinnamon, allspice, and salt. Mix in the corn syrup. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until well blended.
- Stir in the oats. Pour the filling into pie shell and bake for 60 minutes or until the filling is set.
