Sassy Spanish Rice

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper chopped
- ½ cup onion chopped
- 1/3 whole Garlic clove minced
- ½ teaspoon dried basil leaf
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 3 tablespoon water or chicken stock
- 1 cup uncooked brown rice or white long grain rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup chopped peeled tomatoes
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 dash tabasco sauce
Instructions
- Cook bell pepper, onion, garlic, basil and rosemary in stock in a medium-size saucepan until tender.
- Stir in rice, water, tomatoes, pepper and Tabasco sauce. Cover and cook over low heat about 20 minutes or until rice is done. Serve hot.
